Time Sync

I'm doing something wrong here, it's not updating my time:

Before-
tyler    pts/3    dialupn109.phnx. 11:47pm  0.00s  0.26s  0.03s  w

[root@gizmo netdate]# rdate -s time.mit.edu
[root@gizmo netdate]# /sbin/clock -u -w

After-
tyler    pts/3    dialupn109.phnx. 11:47pm  0.00s  0.28s  0.03s  w
