network question

get more basic...can you ping any of the other computers from your Windows
NT Box?  can you ping the linux box from your Windows NT Box.

The problem probably lies somewhere within your 'default gateway'. Perhaps
it is the default gateway on your Windows NT box - it must be on the same
subnet as the IP address. Also if you have 2 nework cards on the NT box, (or
any other), you still can only have 1 default gateway.
