JLF = Kibo ?

[Michael Sheldon]

Kibo was the god of grep.

He had a routine that would search the newsgroups, *ALL* of the newsgroups,
for any mention of his name, to which you would get a reply.

I got my first shell account about 8-9 years ago, and he was net.legend
then.
