Using my Debian Linux machine.;-)If you remember that csc200 course I took back in 98' and the question of : "If you could write a program that would put people out of work would you do so and why?"
I can see the value in automation in the food business and elsewhere. I have this picture around the house of the planet Neptune with a quote:
"In the long run, men hit only what they aim at. Therefore, though they might fail immediately, they had better aim at something high." That quote is from Walden, by Henry David Thoreau
What are we aiming for?
2023 is about to kick off.Set you sights on what you want.

This doesn't surprise me a bit. 30 years ago I worked in some fast food
places and I saw the unreliability of many people who work there. The
trend is toward more of the 'I don't have to work. Everybody owes me.'
attitude. I saw something a couple of years ago about a fast food
place that had robots making the burger. Somebody would put beef,
lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, ketchup, etc in the machine and
wrapped burgers came out the other end. The technology hasn't had much
success. But as it improves, it will get cheaper. Also with the push
for a higher and higher minimum wage will increase demand for a burger
making robot. The economics professor someone mentioned is right. Make
something expensive and alternatives will become practical. Also robots
don't spit in the food and post the video to social media.
