OT: html code to open a document in kwrite?

So it sounds you just don't want to type the command?
Setting this up in a browser makes you open the browser and then open the
page and then click on the link.
I think the simplest solution would be to add an entry to the system menu
or an icon to the panel or desktop.
Depending on you distribution the steps will be different, but somewhat
similar.
If you right click on the desktop there should be an entry to create a
launcher
Give it a name, add the command you want and you can even customize the
icon and save it.
Now you can click on it and it will do what you want.
You can also drag the icon to the panel or menu.
