Semi-OT: ChromeOS

I love my chromebook and use it allot.  One of the few things I can't run
on it is CAD.  But I have found excellent programmer ide, graphics, etc.

Here is a hint for you.  Try running the chrome browser for everything.
Use the apps, they will be your chromebook apps.  If you can do what you
need... Then go for the ChromeBook.  If you can't, it's time for a cost
benefit analysis.  Is the inexpensive cost worth it to accomplish what you
need, or do you really need a full Linux box.
