Edit the file:
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/google-chrome.list
Change the repository line to be:
deb [arch=amd64] http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb/ stable main
Then you should be able to run apt-get update without errors
Alternatively you can purge the google-chrome-stable package off your
system and then reinstall the latest 64bit version from the web and it
will replace the package repository file for you.
