Installfest related question

I recently bought a Dell laptop that came with win7. I started it and
did some testing as I recall. So I launched the Win7. I then replaced
win7 with Mint 17 KDE. I need access to windows and would like to run a
copy of Win7 in a VM if possible.

It is my understanding that running windows in a VM is a violation of
the user license. Is this true?

Where can I get an ISO and can I use the codes provided with the laptop?

Running a full version of Win7 in a VM would be the best solution for
me.

Thanks!!
Keith
