making program system wide

I found kompozer online and downloaded it. I click the executable and a
window appears saying:
Do you want to run "Link to kompozer", or display its contents?
"Link to kompozer" is an executable text file.
So I click 'run' and everything runs correctly. I even made a webpage and
tested the page and so-on.
So then I create a link to this executable file and put it in /bin and
rename it to 'kompozer', double click it, and nothing happens. I thought I
could put a link to the executable in /bin to make it a system program but
that didn't seem to work. I opened a terminal and:
kompozer home.html
Cannot find mozilla runtime directory. Exiting.

Please, what do I need to do to get it to work correctly?
I have the kompozer directory in ~/Documents/Business/ and then the link to
kompozer also ~/Documents/Business/wp.cableguyspecialist. The link in
~/Documents/Business/wp.cableguyspecialist as it should so there must have
something to do with putting the link in /bin.
You know, I bet this is why kompozer fell out of favor with people! I
wonder why no one fixed it?
