Happy birthday Linux! 23 years ago today, a young programmer named Linus
Torvalds announced to the world that he was creating a new free operating
system as a hobby but needed a little help. It has since become a vast
global collaboration and one of the most successful operating systems on
the planet. Who would have thought?
