linux from scratch

My motivation? Well..... I was told that it's an educational endeavour and
I'm always up to learning new things. I'll have to do it again to really
learn things. I thought that some of the programs that installed sounded
really interesting and that I'll have to look into them more.
I really do want to learn about linux and to possibly get into the security
aspect of things or to learn programming.... maybe both. I need to dream
big!
