Computer Down Need Help!!

There can be all sorts of things that can make a machine not work. 
Recently this beast died.  It just went off like it would if the plug 
had been pulled.  I unplugged it and plugged it back in.  The fan 
started and it beeped then all went quiet again.  I checked the power 
supply.  It was fine.  There wasn't enough dust on anything to cause any 
problems from overheating.  After 3 or 4 hours of checking everything 
else, I found out what the problem was.

The power switch was stuck closed.   The case has a reset button which I 
wasn't using.  So I swapped it for the power switch.  There are two 
buttons on the front of the case.  I just push the other one now.  This 
proved to me that you should never overlook anything when dealing with a 
dead machine.
