Ah, sorry, I didn't account for you having an nvidia card before I
recommended the upgrade. The proprietary drivers are some of the last
things to make it into the release. Thats why I used my T60 as the
guinea pig instead of one of my more used, powerful, laptops. Are you
trying to use the proprietary driver or nouveau?
It might be easier to temporarily switch your raring repository to saucy
and tell it to grab the kernel, then switch the repositories back.
