I never have, but I did read about the problems some have run into.

Keep in mind if you set up an exit node and traffic of an illegal nature 
is found coming from it or going to it, the cops will come looking for 
you.  In the story above, a man ended up in trouble when cops found out 
his ip address was used for accessing child porn.  It was someone on 
tor, but the cops went looking for him first.
