joomla 2.5 or 3.0

2.5 is a long term release.  I would stick with 2.5 till the next long 
term release.  Joomla's short term releases are very short term and if 
you use a short term release for more than testing you will quickly find 
yourself in need of a possibly nasty upgrade.
