OT: wget in the news

I agree with you.    Wget saved him having to right click and save as 
for each of hundreds if not thousands of files.  Using wget to do this 
would make it a lot easier for someone to steal lots of data.  If he 
knew it wasn't allowed, he shouldn't have used it.  Still some of the 
blame has to lie with the Army's IT people who didn't configure the 
computers so that they wouldn't run unauthorized software.

On a related note, 30+ years ago Russian dissidents would flee Russia, 
tell the world what horrible things the Russian government was doing to 
its own people, then settle in the US.  Now the dissident flees the US, 
tells the world what terrible things the US is doing to its own people, 
then settles in Russia.
