Helping a Japanese Ftiend

I wonder if it is a region code problem.  I've rarely seen any dvd 
authoring software that has a region code option on it.  I have seen 
region code options in dvdshrink but that's about it.  I would suggest 
trying it on another dvd drive just in case there's something going on 
with the drive that  gave you the message below.
