attach XP computer to network fror printing

ohhhhh..... now I understand the 8/16/24 thing! (sorta) and 8 bits is the
range from 0-255.
so I changed the bind address to reflect the correct octet but still it
does not print.

I just realized something as I was returning from starbucks about 15
minutes ago. Not only did I change the user name on the XP but the ubuntu's
hard drive crashed and I had to reinstall everything and then later did I
notice it stopped printing. I restored it from a disk image I made of the
hard drive So I would think everything would be as it was before.... but,
who knows!
