OT: Microsoft website down?

Local Phoenix broadcast TV news on Wednesday has mentioned:
1.> Mitt Romney's Hotmail account got HACKED!  So, Microsoft is/was under attack.
2.> 06/06/2012 is a serious IPv6 upgrade day.  Who knows what might break?

There's a pretty major internets problem with Cogent right now.  Might also be affecting y'all.
