flashplayer disabled

the room mate here had the same problem a week or so back. I had to log in and do an apt-get install flash* and it got anything with flash in the name and description. sure, it is a shotgun approach, but it did work. one thing you might want to try is get the vlc package and its various plugins. those also work.
