I need an off-the-shelf ssh-able live CD, do I need to create it?

Even so, that would not fulfill his requirement of it being automatically
present AND with a known user and password.  But yes, a LiveCD having it
available to run on request is probably likely to have been done and by more
than Gentoo.  Good to know though.  I wonder if they still have that.
