OT: wireless router into access point

So I was wondering what is a good dual band simultaneous router that also as
gigabit ports on it that can be used just as a switch/access point. I
currently have a dlink dir 825 but it is giving me problems even with ddwrt
installed so I want something else that just works out of the box
essentially.
