new kernel (was Re: oh man! it just crashed again.)

Great. Looks like I'll put a new kernel in then. I was researching
if I could apt-get it and google says that i can apt-get it.

Is it really that simple now? So I would :

     $ sudo apt-get install linux-image-x.x.x-x

What is the most recent stable release?
