Linux Mint and whole disk encryption

Somebody has a whole-disk-encryption script that works in Mint!  I'm
going to try it at some point soon myself.

It's been tested in Mint10 but that's still deep into the Ext4 era so,
it ought to work?  I'm in the same boat, without whole disk encryption
it's a no-go for me.
