OT: Amateur Radio

I have my Technician license (the lowest), but since they eliminated the
Morse Code (CW), I recommend go all the way for Extra. I ordered the General
and Extra license books from ARRL to study. I have a group of 2-3 joining
me. Let me know if you are interested.

Also, its not entirely OT, IRLP (Internet Radio Linking Project) is about
connecting radios via the internet, and the specs are open to homebrew
radios. These specs and hardware can be open and free...
