You can use some of the RHEL5 stuff, I would, although I can tell you the
RHEL6 tests have change a lot. The objectives are much more targeted than
they use to be which is nice, but "supposedly" the RHEL6 exams will be the
hardest so far. They also focus a lot on the new commands that most, OK old
people like me, don't use or didn't even know of. Things like the "ip"
command for instance. In most cases you can use the old method for anything,
but again, I was informed that the class itself focuses on the new stuff
like network manager. Oh ya, kvm is now testable, spec files are on the
table, know that ext4 is the default fs. They also focus a lot on the proc
file system as well and to obtain and update parameters. I for one, had no
idea there was a command called ip :)

I've learned, recently, that if you really want to keep up on RHEL you
should run Fedora or at lease use a vm of one often enough so you can roll
with the changes.

Read the objectives for RHCSA for RHCE and have a fried do different things
to break you box and you can try to fix it. Having a study partner doesn't
hurt.

These are not questions about the test (per my NDA), these are things that
learn from the class, the objectives, and networking.
