Upgraded from Debian Lenny to Squeeze, and my machine won't boot

Well, I guessed correctly again......I ran aptitude install
linux-image-2.6-686, it installed 2.6.32, and X came up just like before.

Now to get the system upgraded to testing.....any
suggestions/recommendations beyond DON'T DO IT!...;-)
