Wireless Errors

My home router seemed to be exhibiting masive wireless receive errors (80+
MILLION in the last dew weeks). Last night around midnight I made a change
to how each radio (2.4 and 5 GHz) are used and things seem MUCH better now.
However, I am still getting too many errors and I do not know why.

Wireless Packet Info (this is the 2.4 GHz Radio)
Received (RX)
0 OK, 3013 errors (I purposely had all wireless clients off so no actual
RX/TX packets)
 Transmitted (TX)
0 OK, 3 errors

I checked last night and there 3 errors after 5 minutes and were no other
detectable wireless APs. My router was using channel 6. Today there is a
very weak signal on channel 6 from a neighbor across the street and about 3
houses down and my router has switched to channel 11. I do not have a
wireless house phone. My microwave has not been used. I do have a CFL
bulb in a lamp 5-7 feet from the router but can discern no error rate
difference if it is on or off. I also have a florescent kitchen light 20
feet away and again can discern no impact.

1) Do 3000 errors in 16 hours without actually using a wireless client seem
reasonable?

2) Any thoughts on what might be causing them?

BTW, I turned on my Android Wi-Fi to check for APs in the area and now

Wireless Packet Info
Received (RX)
560 OK, 3506 errors
 Transmitted (TX)
893 OK, 3 errors
