forensics and a blind linux user?

hello hans and the rest of the list.

I have some questions about how one such as me can get involved in forensics. to begin with , you already know my situation, so I need not point it out. what tools are available that use a command line or can work within a console terminal window?

any other tools needed?how about types of hardware? suggestions?
