Thanks Everyone!!!

The malware had my bowser set to a proxy.  I fixed that and ran Rkill which stopped then malware from running.  I'm now using Malwarebytes to remove the malware.

When that is done I'm going to try tdsskiller to remove any rootkits.

I have used avira, was only way to remove  particularly bad virus form a machine. i just need install media so i cna repair the corrupted files in windows.

but the avira part worked well.
