wrong - you simply have a choice of the installation DVD or a live-cd.

There are DVD's for various cpu's (i386, x86_64, PPC, etc.)

The live-cd is obviously a small footprint because of the 650 MB
limitation.

Even the DVD's are limited to about 4500 MB.
