What is different about YOUR router is the specific passphrase it was set to
use.  Only yours uses that phrase for  securing wireless communications.
Even another router identical to yours in every way would only use the same
passphrase if the user had set it up using the same type of security and the
same passphrase.

yea, we could try that.  I don't use skype and my only phone is a cell phone
though so using a lot of minutes is not desireable.  Even if I were to set
up skype, you would have to be using it on a different computer since we
would be changing the wireless connection data for the wireless machine.  It
might work if that machine were also connected via a wire to the router, but
if we ended up changing something on the router it would likely have to be
reset and we would lose the skype connection.

BTW, I don't know what part of the valley you live in so do not know if
getting together would be reasonable.  I am basically in Apache Junction.
