from all the arrays i have made that is a bit more complicated that it
should be.

but from my layout that has worked fro me in several flavors

make sure the logical volumes that will be part of the array are the
same size (not sure if this is a requirement but it has made life
simpler)

Make sure a /boot partition exists outside of the array, i have had
some issues when this is not done.

create the partitions and when it asks for type choose Linux raid from
the partition manager.

Then hit the raid manager and make your array and partition as needed

A mouse trap, placed on top of your alarm clock, will prevent you from
rolling over and going back to sleep after you hit the snooze button.
