Fusion MPT SAS and citrix

Anyone build the LSI logic Fusion SAS drivers from RH/CentOS and or
Citrix before?

I am having huge issues getting this driver to build and the thing is
being very very cryptic about its errors/fails.

from what i can tell it is having problems building because it cannot
talk to the hardware itself? which is odd because i want to build a
driver so i can install on the controller.
