Motherboard question.

Greetings,

I have two ATX boxes I wish to rebuild with all new internals. I am looking
for motherboards for both. I wish to run some flavor of Linux server on
them and would like your opinions. So far, the devices I will need at
least one of these boards to support, if not both are :

*Adaptec 29160 Ultra160 SCSI Card

Seagate Model STD68000N DDS3 Tape Backup

One Seagate Cheetah ST336752LW HDD*

*Each unit also already has a Seagate "Hornet" SCSI Tape backup mounted in
it. I think these are 5.25 " Tapes ? They are larger than the smaller
DDS3 tapes. One of the Model numbers on one of the units is "STT38000N".*

These devices may be too old for the new technologies, but I was hoping to
possibly find boards with maybe 64-bit, 133 MHz FSB or better, Quad Core
Xeon, and at least 8GB of RAM. I'm really interested in the ABIT boards.
I know I may be reaching here, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
I would like to purchase the boards and start putting it all together, then
I would also like your opinions on the best Linux Server Distr and would
like to bring it all down to an install fest sometime to get it all
configured correctly.

Thanks Again,

Jeff
