I run Linux on a variety of machines at different times.  Some of them have
9.04 and on-board intel graphics though the ones I run most have added in
video cards.  I've not had this problem at all but admittedly I don't run
the intel ones much so maybe just have not had it come up.  I'll find one of
them and try to check it out.
