Course you might auction the drive off on EBay and buy a new Laptop (from the looks of the prices) after your get your data: Ebay

Hi,

See now I feel dumb ;) I guess better to ask people who know than fly by the seat of my pants.
The only problem is that I cannot locate a power input that is identical to the one in my desktop (or at all for that matter) on the drive. I will dump an image of it somewhere when I get it (at a friend's house this weekend.)

If you look at the connectors, they are the same as SATA.
