Need Advice on Routers

I am a big fan of an old box for linux ( via epia based system with
dual nic also comes to mind.)

openVPN or if you want vpn on an alternate system you can use smoothwall

or you can get any router and learn the ways of hamachi :-)

but this is really a momnet wher eyou decide what you want from it and
how much you want to invest in the solution.

not everyone has a via epia 600mhz board with dual nics sitting in the
background handy. ( the new Intel atom based boards aren't bad either.
or their predecessor)

A mouse trap, placed on top of your alarm clock, will prevent you from
rolling over and going back to sleep after you hit the snooze button.
