How to go back when FF refuses to go back?

I never thought that it was intentional blocking of going back, but rather just a side-effect of some sites with ads rotating every few seconds. Perhaps an "intentional" side effect, I dunno. You hit "back" but that reloads the same page with the previously displayed ad. If you hit Back enough times to display the ads that have flipped since you originally hit the page, it'll take you to the previous site.

Using the history to jump is about the best way to get back to where you want to go!

The History menu will also allow you to escape the localized hell fo
the offending website - you may want to adjust the parts of javascript
you allow to function.
