Safe to remount live partition?

I'd say so.  mount may say, "Hey, we can't do that!!1!" but if it
does, the filesystem will behave like it was behaving before.  I
just did "mount / -o remount,user_xattr" without any problems at
all, and_{_{xDxD
eth0: transmit timed out
