I think we just went through this with someone else on list a month or
so ago.
You probably want to check how the file system is mounted xattr? as that
is pretty key to getting extended attributes.
You will definitely want to look at the man page for smb.conf -
specifically at the 'ea support' and 'store dos attribtes' sections.
The 'map' attributes functionality pretty much depends upon them. create
mask & force commands might influence (override) some of the other
settings.
