All 4 possibilities mentioned are OK with me:
[A]  cancel the Dec 2008 W Side meeting
[B]  "DON'T" cancel (nor change) it ...have it on Dec.-24
[C]  move it up a week (have it on Dec.-17)
[D]  move it to "some other day"

Hence, this post (being "neutral" on the above)
is sorta devoid of content...
EXCEPT FOR, *** changing the
   "Subject: " header ***
for (subsequent replies to)
this sub-thread, of this thread.
