Is anybody having display issues with the latest Kubuntu ?

I have not seen this with the standard Ubuntu 8.10 install wubi or
Clean. with the noteable excepion of when i was dealing with a game
under wine. but i know thats more wine related.
see if compiz is running and if so turn it off.
