Off topic kills value of the list and group

I have to add something here. This is a discussion list. A discussion list FOR linux users. But not specifically about LINUX. Linux User Group by definition means a GROUP of LINUX USERS who are all participating in a DISCUSS list. It is not topic based, but a general discussion list.
As people on this list have become friends they act like friends and discuss everything from time to time.

If you do not approve of alternative topics to linux maybe you need to find a discussion list for people who do not want to be friends, but be completely un-social and _only_ discuss GNU/Linux.

I've been here over ten years and I'm happy to consider some people on this list my friends.
As such I come to appreciate their opinions whether I agree or not.
