Keith,

The best way to learn with Unix/Linux/anything... is to take one
single topic and go to the Nth degree learning it.

Since you need htpasswd, start by Googling that. Then go to your shell
and type: "man htpasswd"
Read all you can. Learn all there is to know. A side effect of
becoming an expert on htpasswd is that you will pick up other salient
knowledge along the way.
