Ubuntu and hardware vendors

Not that I have seen anything to verify it, but good sense might have
dictated that Dell (and others) waited for the 8.04.1 LTS release
which just happened July 1st.  One thing I have not seen is what in
8.04.1 that is not part of automatic updates for 8.04 users.
