I used to use 64bit blackdown java 1.4.2 in firefox . . . . just
installed it. It is buggy but it is 64bit. YMMV

Yes that annoyed me too. I feared I would have to build my own 64bit
version but now I have to use Evolution instead--I hate evolution.
