Sendmail authentication configuration?

Nope, not that port.

I have the port issue solved and am "happily" getting authentication
failures from the target server.  The information I have on how to
connect does not document the authentication method required, just that
authentication is required.  I have a question pending with the target
server people about that.

We'll see how it falls out tomorrow.
