Intel-Core2 Duo T7500 or AMD-Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-64

I am debating one whether to go AMD or Intel for a notebook from Dell.
 AMD would cost less but Intel I know has a better track record with
Linux systems.  If you had the option which proc would you choose?
