I have no problems at all with end users installing proprietary stuff,
or signing up for whatever service they like. Really I don't. ;-)

Most of my gripes come from Linux distros or developers doing non-free
things, and then end users mistakenly thinking their Linux install is
completely free software. But that's another thread I'm not ready to
start again, and it's certainly off-topic for this thread.

You shouldn't have to be an idealist to use Linux. The free parts are
free for everyone. Even for people uninterested in Freedom. :)

That's been my intention, and still is. This is usually a great list to
learn about things. :)
